Frederick A. Caine collected these 5 photographs during his mission to Japan for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints circa 1902-1904. Three of the photographs are other missionaries in the field, two of the photographs presumably depict members of the LDS church in Japan.

Frederick A Caine was born March 24, 1884 in Coalville, Utah. His parents were Alfred H. Caine and Margaret A. Mitchell. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, circa 1902-1904. Frederick married Esther H. Howe on June 4, 1912.
